Hey y'all,
Im gettin married in june, and moving to NH from maine around that time. Im wondering how the rules for road-worthy-ness for jeeps are. I would like to remove my huge plastic fender flares and swap in some smaller tube flares. Without the huge flares some of the tire would probably stick out, in maine they would pull me over and shoot me on the spot. Im just wondering about inspection rules for NH, how strict are they, anything i should look out for? thanks!

I was pulled over a couple of times for my TJ with tube fenders. Rule of thumb the staties use is that there can be NO tread sticking out when the look down from the fender. YMMV on this, as it tends to vary, but as the budgets get cut on them, the look for more violations.

Big things in NH are bumper height and tire coverage.

Keep the flares. Bumper height at 30".
