biggrin.gif Great club – I signed/paid-up in Feb 05 and have been on a few great runs (Maine Stocker run , the Rt.4 after cleanup run, and the Hooky run 4 – all just great! Am looking forward to the Fall Crawl, TDR, and some recon in Bradford.

sad.gif As a new member, I commented on club acknowledgements/confirmations/ ‘welcome’ packages and offered to help at that time with the process in anyway needed – the offer still stands!

cool.gif:-->icon10.gif Id be of the most use dealing with admin/gofer/technical issues – not so much on the mechanical/heavy lifting (trail cut) tasks – but as I like to RIDE the trails, I would like to pull my weight in other ways.

I realize the stress/pressure the organization is under, and wish the longstanding admin team well during a very difficult time.

blink.gif So, again, for what it’s worth, I offer to help in anyway needed. Tom

Tom,

I think its fair to say, that an organization success is largely due to the behind the scenes work, admin, paper pushing, orgainizing etc. From the 3 yrs I've been in this club, I've seen some very good efforts on those fronts and it really makes things that much better for the club as a whole. If you are willing to get involved from a behind the scenes point, I'm sure someone will be more that happy to have your help. I'm sure one of officers will see this, and be in touch with you.

I hope I didn't cheat you out of some wrenching when I jumped in to fix that missing track bar bolt.

Joe

Joe as a member of NEWJO you are also a member of the NEA. The NEA is involved in lots of behind the scene stuff and I am sure could use more help.

Hello everyone kool.gif

i just joined here a few mins ago.

(now don't laugh)-i own a 94 subaru legacy gt wagon, 4wd(granted not D/R like i'd like but hey...)

future plans are to swap out the struts for ones out of a legacy outback which are about 3" taller,so i'll be adding a 3" lift along with 27x8.5x14s swampers...

even though i don't have a jeep now,i did own one couple yrs back.1988 jeep wrangler with 3" body lift/33x12.5x15 goodyear t/a's

i do love jeeps of all kinds...

I've seen pictures of Subabus doing some water crossings and mild rocks. Its cool but limited.

Welcome Lynne! You've come to the right place. NEWJO has members with a very nice mix of Willys, AMC and Jeep vehicles. Your XJ, YJ and CJ8 are in the right place!

Hi Lynne.

Yeah, you came to the right place. I've never owned a Willys and they let me stick around.
It's a great group of people and there is a wealth of tech knowlegde on the board. The Resto Group has tackled all kinds of projects from one time or another and that certainly covers the CJ and the YJ.

If you are not otherwise commited, I suggest you check out the Sandwich Fair thread, maybe you can come up this weekend and see what's up.

It's great to have you on board.

Hi all, new member to this board. Sent in my application complete with payment for the 2009 season a while ago (over a month).
I haven't checked to see if the payment has been cashed yet but did noticed my account status hasn't changed yet. Can someone check up on this and let me know where its at?
Season is around the corner and would like to know what the club has for events. Thanks
