I was browsing good ol craigslist tonight when I came across these rims. I did a double take.

Notice anything strange?

Can anyone guess what they are off of?

No cheating.

I had a feeling you would get this and spoil the fun. wink.gif
The listing said, "1999-2003 Ford F150 with 7700lb payload package" but I am guessing they are the same thing.

Yep. the old 7 lug wheels.
I drove one for a while, it was a great truck, but I could never understand why the used such an odd ball bolt pattern on a low production truck, then changed it back.

Yes, they were called F150 7700's. I almost bought one.

Engineer: We need 8 lugs to support the weight.
Marketing: Our consumers won't like so many lug nuts, make it 6.
VP: We'll make it SEVEN!

In my best Spinal Tap voice. "All the other half ton trucks have 5 or 6 lugs..... but ours has seven".
